This Foundation of Jewellery Manufacturing course is suited to anyone who wants to design and make their own jewellery - or who wants to find a career in the jewellery making space but doesn't know where to start. It is designed to give you real world insights into the mostly closed-off world of professional jewellery making.
- Very limited places - class size is maximum 5 people;
- 8 weeks, 24 hours of lessons, in the form of 1 x 3 hour class each week, on a specified day;
- 1,680 Euro including VAT;
- There will be homework!
- It will be required that participants also purchase a tool box with all of the tools & equipment they need to set up at home - will provide guidance with this purchase after you make your booking, however please note that the cost is likely to be around 350 Euro for the toolkit.
By the end of the course, you will have been taught the skills, and given the information & resources, necessary to begin your foray into jewellery making.
Dates
Class will run weekly from 17:30 to 20:30 Uhr on the specified day, for 8 weeks.
Materials
Base metals such as copper will be used for most practice and example pieces, with silver being supplied for projects throughout the course.
