Wax-carving Workshop

Carve a piece from jewellers wax, to be cast in sterling-silver.

Make your own sterling-silver ring, earrings or pendant using the age-old goldsmithing method, lost wax carving.

In the workshop, you will hand-carve a wax-model of your piece from jewellers wax. Nathan Thomas, a goldsmith of 20+ years' experience, will guide you through the process of bringing your vision to life.

After the workshop, your wax model will be cast in sterling-silver, and polished and finished by Nathan. Your piece will be available for pick-up approximately 2-3 weeks from the workshop (or talk to us about postage options).

The workshop runs for 2.5 hours. 

It is suitable for complete beginners through to intermediate and advanced students. We take every safety precaution to make the workshops fun and safe, and participation in the workshop is strictly voluntary and at the participant's own risk.
